WHAT IS TELETHERAPY?
Teletherapy is the delivery of assessment and treatment services through a secure video platform. We are set up with an electronic health record system and a patient portal that allows us to send our clients intake forms and handouts prior to our first digital meeting.
WHAT SERVICES DO YOU PROVIDE THROUGH TELETHERAPY?
I provide assessments and treatment plans for speech, language, and voice disorders. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Expressive/receptive language (aphasia)
Slurred speech due to a neurological event or disease (dysarthria)
Voice and speech disturbances due to Parkinson's disease or known vocal pathology (vocal nodules, vocal polyps).
Swallowing disorders, or dysphagia, will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
I am happy to continue your prior dysphagia therapy services as prescribed by your primary speech-language pathologist if you were seeing someone else who cannot offer ongoing services through telehealth.
It is my mission to provide evidence-based practice; should you feel like I am not the right fit for you, I am happy to help you find someone else who might be. As a healthcare provider, your health and treatment outcomes are my top priority.
